Job Title: Graduate Recruitment Consultant

Location: Naas, Co Kildare

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start their career in recruitment, gain valuable experience, and develop their professional skills. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
    • Proactively source and engage with potential candidates via job boards, social media, and networking platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, recruitment fairs).
    • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific roles.
    • Build a strong network of potential candidates for future roles.
  • Client Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Understand clients’ hiring needs, company culture, and job specifications.
    • Provide consultative advice on recruitment processes and market trends.
  • Job Posting & Advertising:
    • Write and post job advertisements on various job boards, company websites, and social media platforms.
    • Ensure job ads are optimised to attract the right talent.
  • Managing the Recruitment Process:
    • Assist in managing the full recruitment cycle from initial candidate search to successful placement.
    • Arrange candidate interviews with clients, provide feedback, and manage offers and negotiations.
    • Follow up on the post-placement process, ensuring both candidate and client satisfaction.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
    • Identify new business opportunities by researching target clients and industries.
  • Administration:
    • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities using database
    • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, candidate pipelines, and placements.

  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with candidates and clients.

  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Ability to sell opportunities to candidates and negotiate with clients during the recruitment process.
  • Resilience & Tenacity: Willingness to work in a target-driven environment with a can-do attitude.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenges and think on your feet when dealing with clients and candidates.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively within a team while managing your own workload.

The Person

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline).
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but internships or part-time work in recruitment, HR, or sales are advantageous.
  • Full training will be provided

The Package

Salary: Competitive base salary + commission
