The Role
The role will involve the management of a portfolio of clients across a number of business sectors. Reporting to the Practice Manager and the Directors the role will offer the successful candidate exposure to a variety of assignments working on small to medium sized companies and sole traders.
The role will include:
- Management of portfolio of clients
- Preparation of financial statements for companies and individuals, to completion
- Personal, corporate and capital tax returns
- Monthly management accounts
- Small/medium company audits
- Company secretarial compliance
- Willing to oversee and coach trainees if necessary
- Self-starter who can critically analyse and assess information with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail and with an ability to use initiative and always maintain confidentiality
- To be a problem solver and have a ‘can do’ attitude
The Person
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years practice experience
- Finalist or recently qualified
- Proficient in Excel, Word & Outlook
- Experience in using accounting programs including Relate/Surf
