Part Time Bookkeeper
Maynooth - Permanent
3 days per week (Flexible on Days)
Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 Pro Rata
Office Based Role
My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper on a permanent basis for three days per week.
The client is flexible on the hours and the days that are worked.
Experience using Sage Accounts and Thesaurus payroll would be an advantage.
Experience within the Hospitality Sector would be a distinct advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Accounts Receivable – reconciling debtor accounts and addressing customer account queries
- Accounts payable – reconciling creditor accounts and preparing remittances for payment
- Bank reconciliation
- Perform banks and credit cards reconciliations
- Allocation of payments
- Weekly payroll – P30
- Processing VAT return in ROS
- Prepare accounts to trial balance
- Allocation of payments
- Liaising with company accountants
- General office admin duties
- Other ad hoc duties and tasks as required by the business
The Person
Key Skills:
- 2+ years’ bookkeeping experience in a busy office environment
- Accounting Technician or IPASS Certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership on the role
- Excellent attention to detail and comfortable working on own initiative with the ability to plan and control their workload
- Ability to work under time pressure and to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excel (minimum intermediate)
- Sage Accounts
- Thesaurus
