The Role
Our client, a leading Medical Supplier company is looking to hire a Technical and IT focused Medical Sales Representative to sell their IT based products. The company is an agent for these products which are supplied by two key reputable suppliers, both highly regarding in the industry for their product range.
The is a leading Irish medical and surgical services company. Family owned and managed, it is dedicated to delivering and supplying the highest quality products in four key areas: Pressure Therapy Medical and Surgical Supplies, Electronic Security Systems and Equipment Repair & Maintenance.
Main Duties
- The role will involve visiting hospitals (both public and private) around the Republic of Ireland (nationwide), meeting with a team of decision makers, for example, Biomedical Engineers, Head of Electronics, IT Consultant etc., generally those associated with Estates Department within the Hospital.
- Selling and demonstrating the equipment.
- In addition, the IT Rep will on occasion accompany clinical specialist Sales Reps to sales meeting and sales presentations.
The Person
Key Requirements
- A strong background/knowledge in IT technology and/or IT Electronics
- A graduate with a qualification in an IT or Electronic discipline or similar area
- An interest or knowledge of medical products/devices, an advantage but not essential
- Previous Sales Experience
- Energetic, driven and self-motivate
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to present at sales meeting to a team of decision makers
- Ability to demonstrate products to decision makers
- Ability to engage with decision makers and demonstrate a technical product

Salary
- Negotiable depending on experience
- Pension (after probation)

Location - The role is Nationwide so the suitable applicant can live anywhere within Ireland. The company's head office is Dublin based which you would be required to attend on occasion.
