We are actively seeking to hire an energetic, enthusiastic, Financial Controller who is committed to their work, and should be comfortable working in a fast paced, highly flexible environment. This is an exciting opportunity for you to continue to develop your experience and be involved with an increasing level of complexity and volume of transactions within the finance department.
Role Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Preparation of Quarterly Management Accounts.
• Deal with External Auditor and full responsibility for the yearend Audit.
• Over see all functions of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Pay all suppliers at month end.
• Carry out weekly payroll for staff of 100.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset register.
• Review the Sales teams reports for claiming all monthly rebates.
• Carry out the HR needs of the company.
• Filling of all VAT and PAYE returns on time.
• Manage tight cashflow planning and reporting.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.
The Person
Skills & Knowledge Required
• Professional qualification of an Accountancy Body
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in compiling and generating financial reports from raw data
• Ability to scrutinise, sense check and validate financial data
• Versatile team player – enthusiastic, flexible, pragmatic, thorough, pro-active
• Proven ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent Microsoft Excel experience.
