Office Based Role
My client is seeking to appoint a Bookkeeper / Office Manager on a permanent basis
This role will be 70% Bookkeeping and 30% Office Management, and the candidate will be managing a team of up to 4 employees.
The client is currently using Sage Accounts, but they are moving to Business Central next year.
Experience using Business Central would be a distinct advantage.
This is a fully office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Role is 70% Bookkeeping and 30% Office Management
- Managing a team of up to 4 administrators
- Sales Invoicing
- Purchases Subcontractor Invoices
- Consultancy Supplier Invoices
- Managing the Debtors Ledger
- Closing off the ledgers at month end
- Setting up new Customers / Subcontractors on Sage
- WIP Plant Hire for month end
- Accruals for Subbies for month end
- Working closely with six Quantity Surveyors / Engineers
- Covering for the Payroll Administrator when needed.
- Managing the National Fleet Database
- Responsible for Motor Tax / Eflow / Fuel Cards
- All Administration duties including Etenders, Tenders, Prequals
- Responsible for Office Management Administration.
The Person
Key Skills
- Minimum of 3/5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong Office Management / People Management skills
- Knowledge of Construction Industry would be an advantage
- Knowledge of RCT Administration would be an advantage
- Experience of using Sage Accounts or Business Central
