The Role
his position is permanent and hybrid in Kildare, and would offer the opportunity to work with a range of clients, from small businesses to corporate entities. As a fully qualified accountant, you will have independence in client management and ample growth opportunities to become a team leader.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and accounting documents
- Provide accurate bookkeeping services and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Perform financial analysis and offer valuable insights to clients
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Assist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues and support junior team members
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice in Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage client relationships
