The Role
Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Office Administrator in Athlone.
Fully office based
Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
Salary up to €35,000
Main duties:
- Serve as the company’s front-facing representative by welcoming visitors, addressing their needs, and creating a positive first impression.
- Arrange and manage both internal and external meetings, including video conferencing setups.
- Provide comprehensive travel support to the management team, including organizing flights, hotel bookings, and handling all associated administrative tasks.
- Track action points and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding tasks.
- Oversee office facilities and services, coordinating with external vendors to maintain smooth operations.
- Manage employee ID systems, including the issuance of ID badges for new and existing team members.
- Offer cross-functional support to various departments as required.
- Handle office and building needs, such as utility management (gas, electricity), pest control, and cleaning services.
- Establish and manage new supplier accounts, including contracts for stationery and cleaning services.
- Assist the General Manager with a variety of administrative and operational responsibilities.
The Person
Main requirements:
- Relevant previous experience required
- Be a proven self-starter
- Ability to take meeting notes and minutes
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
