Permanent-Office based

Fast growing company who requires a new role for Financial Accountant

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance & Admin

Responsibilities
Oversee company's financial department
Responsible for monthly general ledger processing and preparation of monthly accounts for the company
Review and maintain current controls to ensure they are working and identify/ implement new controls where required
Set up and reconcile new accounting software/records developing and identifying/ introducing changes to improve the running of the company
Calculation, posting and analysis of monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring that all items are accurately captured
Preparation of balance sheet analysis and reconciliations including bank, accruals, prepayments, VAT & Intrastat
Complete monthly cash-flow forecasts & management accounts
Sign off on and submit PAYE/Vat/RCT period Submissions,
Assist the completion of the annual financial audit and any internal audits
Oversee creditor & debtor reconciliation
Any regulatory/Legal/Financial misc projects as required

The Person

Requirements:
Qualified Accountant with qualifications such as (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
Minimum of 3-5 years post qualification work experience in a similar role
