Junior Accountant

Hybrid Working Model

 

My client is seeking to appoint a Junior Accountant on a permanent basis.

This role will suit someone that is a strong Accounts Assistant, an IATI Accounts Technician or someone who is starting out with their IATI studies.

Strong Excel skills are required for this role and experience with a ERP System would be a distinct advantage.

 

This is a hybrid working role of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Hybrid working will commence straight away.

 

This client is moving to Citywest in March 2025

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Banking including proposed vendor payment runs.
  • Month end Bank Reconciliation for Invoice Discounting Facility.
  • Assisting in building the Monthly Cash-flow including forecasted vendor payments and other cash outflows.
  • Coding and posting of back-office invoices i.e. Fleet, Phone, IT, Electricity & Freight.
  • GRNI Control - Helping AP post Stock Invoices.
  • Fixed Assets, Distribution and other Management Accounts tasks.
  • CSO, Intrastat and Vies monthly files.
  • SKU set up and maintenance.
  • BIK and Revenue Reporting (duty reports/46G).
  • Compilation of Price Promos to advance to posting Promos - BC&S
  • Compilation of FOC to advance to posting FOC after brand coding.
  • Monthly sales reporting for a selection of Non Alcohol brands – using Power BI
  • Spend report preparation – Non Alcohol Brands
  • Assisting accountants in gathering supporting documentation for Brand Recharges.

The Person

Key Skills:

  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems (Microsoft Navision preferable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel (advanced) and Power BI (desirable)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manager several priorities at once
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven team player with a strong worth ethic and assured communication skills
