The Role
Leinster Appointments is currently for a Marketing and Communications Specialist in Co. Kildare.
This is a permanent, full time role.

Salary €45,000 - €50,000 DOE
Main duties:
- Engage actively in developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication initiatives, including branding, advertising, public relations, public affairs, and event management.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual elements across all marketing materials as a corporate brand guardian.
- Enhance the organization's online presence and engagement.
- Deliver high-quality, on-brand, targeted content within brand guidelines for various channels such as the website, social media, email, and company intranet.
- Manage media relations, including press releases and responses to media inquiries.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and assess performance against KPIs.
- Manage the marketing and communications budget to ensure effective performance and regularly evaluate spending to demonstrate return on investment.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.
- Actively engage in the Performance Management process to achieve personal and team objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including internal business leaders, expert agencies, suppliers, and political and government representatives.
- Foster and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing initiatives and collaborations.
- Plan and manage events, including press conferences, project announcements, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Develop and implement an internal communications strategy to align vision, business strategy, and implementation focus across leadership and business units.
- Oversee corporate sponsorship management, including reviewing and deciding on corporate applications and requests.
The Person
• 4-5 years of experience.
• Degree in Business or Marketing is required.
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing communications, digital marketing and PR.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, within assigned timeframe and budget.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite.
